On September 28, 2021, the first "Technological Innovation Leading the Future" Science and Technology Innovation Project Investment and Financing Roadshow Competition of 2021 was successfully held at the Emerging Industries Research Institute of Shanghai University, with Dr. Shen Yuehua, founder of Hengyuan Polymer, winning first prize.

This competition was hosted by the Emerging Industries Research Institute of Shanghai University (Zhejiang Jiaxing), undertaken by Shanghai University Science and Technology Park, and co-organized by Shanghai Yicheng Financial Information Service Co., Ltd. It aims to improve the level and ability of cutting-edge research and technological achievements transformation in relevant fields in Jiaxing and the Yangtze River Delta region, alleviate the financing pressure of small and medium-sized enterprises, promote the transformation and upgrading of small and medium-sized enterprises, promote the industrialization and large-scale application of new technologies, achieve in-depth integration of talents, technology, industry, and capital through precise resource matching, and promote faster and better development of enterprises.

This competition focused on new materials, intelligent manufacturing, and artificial intelligence, with a total of 9 projects participating in the competition. During the competition, the project leaders gave wonderful roadshows on the basic situation, market prospects, and competitive advantages of the participating projects, and conducted investment evaluations with the judges through on-site Q&A. After four hours of intense competition and careful scoring by the expert judging panel, three outstanding projects were selected, and the competition organizing committee awarded first, second, and third prizes to these three projects respectively.
