The globally renowned United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) e-commerce week, initiated and hosted by UNCTAD, is a world-class e-commerce conference held annually in Geneva in April.
The sixth UNCTAD e-commerce week will be held from April 27 to May 1, 2020, at the United Nations Palace in Geneva, Switzerland. It will primarily explore the adjustments and opportunities presented by the development of digitalization and e-commerce globally. Each year, it attracts over 1000 representatives from more than 120 countries, including ministers from international organizations, senior government officials from member states, CEOs and other business representatives, representatives from international organizations, development banks, academia, and civil society organizations, fostering numerous international cooperation projects.

Since 2019, the "Global Cross-border E-commerce International Dialogue Summit" has officially become one of the official events of the UNCTAD e-commerce week, jointly hosted by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the China Chamber of E-commerce.
The summit aims to provide a convenient platform with effective information for Chinese cross-border e-commerce enterprises to expand international markets and participate in global trade, while assisting them in creating and acquiring more value in the global digital economy wave.
The 2020 Global Cross-border E-commerce International Dialogue Summit will be jointly held by the China Chamber of E-commerce and the International Trade Centre during the UNCTAD e-commerce week on April 29th.
This year's summit will focus on "Digital Economy and Cross-border E-commerce," and we will explore some fundamental issues surrounding this theme:

It is expected that over 300 representatives from international organizations, senior government officials from UN member states, CEOs, development banks, and academia from around the world will attend the UNCTAD conference, attracting significant attention and coverage from international media.
