Electronic desiccants offer better drying performance than bagged desiccants and can be used for extended periods, while bagged desiccants are only suitable for daily hearing aid storage and require frequent replacement. If sweat or moisture enters the hearing aid, bagged desiccants are not as effective as electronic desiccants, as electronic desiccants use electric heating and are designed with intelligent temperature control. The two can be used in combination; use bagged desiccants daily. Electronic desiccants are essential for thorough drying, especially during the rainy season and summer.
1. Packaged desiccant - This is desiccant raw materials, packaged according to customer requirements. Packaging materials vary, including composite paper, non-woven fabric, and OPP film. Desiccant raw materials include silica gel desiccant ,quicklime desiccant, montmorillonite desiccant, and mineral desiccant.
2. Electronic desiccant - This refers to packaged desiccants used in the packaging, transportation, and storage of electronic equipment to prevent moisture damage. Most are packaged desiccants. For electronic equipment safety, bagged silica gel desiccants must be used.
Both work on the same principle, however, electronic desiccants offer better drying performance and can be used for extended periods, while bagged desiccants are only suitable for everyday hearing aid storage and require frequent replacement. If sweat or moisture enters the hearing aid, the bagged desiccant is less effective than the electronic desiccant, as the electronic desiccant uses electric heating and features a constant temperature intelligent design.
Combined use is an option; use bagged desiccants daily. Electronic desiccants are essential for thorough drying, especially during the rainy season and summer.
